My Weekly Challenge
Last year I took a photo everyday, or almost everyday (thanks China and your locked down social media), and it was fun but it became somewhat mundane and even a hassle at times. My photos weren't always photos, but snapshots or even screenshots of my day. They really captured me and who I was in the present, which was really cool. The best aspect of the photo a day challenge was the story behind the photo, and I thought it was kinda unique that only I knew the story and maybe another person that was sharing in the experience.
This year I want to challenge myself in a more creative fashion. I don't really want to document my days like last year, but I want to create and develop more of a photographic style. I could care less if anyone sees these; it's more for me and less for the likes. I want my photos to have an artistic eye. I want them to be unique. I want them to stand on their own. I want them to be more intimate. And most importantly, I want them to be awesome.
I'm really exited to use the camera above. I sold my Sony camera, which didn't always encourage photography like this camera does. This camera begs to be taken everywhere and to be used in unique situations. I can't want to see what this thing produces. Who knows, I might even sell my Nikon gear if this camera can truly reflect my "artistic" eye. Anyway, off to take some photos and start the day.
